We used to teach slow riding techniques at the Canada safety Council courses. The people who had to most difficulty at low speed were the ones that looked down away from the horizon and where they were going. It's called eye lead and you should practice it to hone your low speed skills to prevent or reduce future events.

Just saying, but I'm glad that you haven't suffered any injuries other than pride and that you have the balls to openly admit it here amongst yer biking peers. Ride on...slowly...SOW.

Right. Keep your head up, it keeps your inner ear in proper position for balance. Your head looking down is also a prime reason people get sea sick, look at the horizon to feel better.

That's what Both of my instructors said, when I took my basic, and advanced skills courses for the military. this was after I'd had 20,000 miles on my 08 GSX650F mind you.

if you want to go down, by all means, look down. you always look at where you're going. if you fixate on that tree, chances are, that's where you're going. Low speed is the same way. in fact, moreso.

I know I give you shit from time to time, but I've had my share of low speed shenanigans happen to me, been a LOOOONG time since I've had a legit drop, but I got bit by cold tires, just 8 months ago.

Most of SOW's falls are because he doesn't deploy the kickstand. Another six months and somebody will be able to pick up a parts bike with a foam air cleaner, 50 weight oil, a Scott's Steering Damper, frame sliders, trashed bags and fairings and probably 2-3 of those cross-eyed cats.

BB predicts a Harley in his future and getting hitched to a shemale. Or is that drilled?

Yep.. target fixation applies to driving all vehicles, not just MCs. Always look to where you want to go. I'm a huge proponent of conscious driving - continuously striving to improve by incorporating new things (e.g. setting up mini cones and doing the slow rides; I love precision driving / riding). I've always said that anyone can draw a stick figure, but not many can paint the Mona Lisa - same for driving / riding - anyone can get behind the wheel and drive / get on and ride, but can you handle an emergency situation?

She males were a Bad Billy invention:smash: Pipercross simply works and 1 gal of 89 seems to get rid of poping sound-it will run slightly lean, the 89 fixs that.

If you HAVE to up the octane you have another issue. Our bikes only require 86. Cutting the chicken strips off with your pocket knife doesn't count:potstir:

Your octane isnt going to cure a damn lean condition.
If you have a lean condition with this bike, youd better get your fueling system looked at. A sticky injector or something of that nature is not unheard of.

I wish I had invented them. The plastic surgeons, clothing designers, cosmetic manufacturers and chemists who produce hormones are copping all the pesos.. Then dudes like you are always looking for free rides.

Bad Billy did invent She Males, I hear Billy wears mini shirt when riding, in Black leather too. I just put a gal on 89 shell in with a dash of techron and seafoam my special gas for the VFR and my 10-50 2.3qts and 1qt 10-40 seem to be working excellent too in this hot weather. Now I got a 10-46w oil of full syn Castrol rt. I don't need to fix anything-its working perfect except for those Honda pads. I think the Honda pads are a H. EBC HH would be better, that's why they grab a bit better-not enough to mod right now. I don't like slick 50-but on the other hand it might be good stuff?:hat::vader::banana:

I hear WD 40 is even better than Seafoam as a gas additive. Ever try it? I need some real R&D before I try this "mod".
