Now I've taken the 4 bolts out and the fender brace is loose but I can't get it over the forks.
I hope I don't have to remove a fork to get this off? I'm repainting and have stripped the bike cept this darn fender....85 750 btw
    HELP!!:crushed:

Remove front wheel then there are 4 small (8mm???) bolts that hold the fender to the fork brace from the underside. Took a little while to find these on mine since there was so much road crud hiding them. Gave me a chance to clean the underside of the fender too. I know this is an old thread, but hopefully it will help someone.

Old threads are always researched :congratulatory: and it was tough to see those screws....with all the crude.

So that's why mine rocks back and forth a bit. I just have the two in from the sides just behind the fork. Can't expect too much from a $400 bike though can you.
