    Hi Mick

    Welcome to the MadHouse:welcome:

Kudos for posting pictures of your brand new VFR  It looks brilliant especially as you will soon discover red is the fastest colour:potstir:.

As you can see from the following thread some riders find these bikes are a bit top heavy and inclined to adopt horizontal parking mode.

    http://vfrworld.com/forums/showthread.php/44298-You-dropped-it-how-many-time!

So you may want to think about investing in proper frame sliders, and also free off - and then re-tighten the pivot bolts on the mirror stems. (There should be a allen key hidden under a prise off cap). You are aiming so the bolt is just tight enough to keep the mirror steady but loose enough to twist harmlessly out the way if the bike lies down or you clip a car mirror whilst filtering. Sadly some dealers just tighten the pivot bolt fully, so the stem will snap right off and you end up back at the dealership parts department.

    Take care

Thanks Pliskin, l was extremely lucky to get that bike let alone the color it is, being the color l wanted, with the new model being released in april. the honda whare houses in australia only had 1 white one left, so my honda dealer actually sourced it from another dealer about 100 miles away.

    Hi Myka,

Welcome aboard. I do like the candy red colour, it's sexy. Make sure you look after it so it looks the same in the years to come. I've got the silver with the gold wheels!
