To be safe as to not rub while on the road ..grabbed the wife...I mean the cork from her wine bottle and sliced two pieces and slid them in between the eliminator and my cans..cant even see um

    Howdy folks,

I hear that the Delkevic exhausts come with removable baffles, is that right? Does anyone have experience with them? Are they easy to put in and take out?

    Thanks!

Delkevic ships the exhaust with the baffles removed. To install the baffles, you simply slide them in and tighten one screw. It will literally take you 30 seconds to install or rmove each baffle. SUPER easy!

I just got this email from Delkevic today:

    -------
Thank you for your interest in our products. The baffle installation/removal on the 320mm and longer silencers is very simple as it is on the outlet of the can. The shorter silencers 220 and 225mm and the DL10 the baffle is on the inlet and requires the silencer to be removed from the bike. I hope this answers your question.
    -------

Unfortunately the VFR 6th gen systems are all the 'shorter' silencers, and need to have the can removed to install/remove the baffles.

Does anyone know of a system with easy to remove baffles for the 6th gen?

Leo's. Baffle is held in by a bolt from the bottom. Remove the bolt, grab baffle with pliers & pull. Takes about a minute. Some other systems use a similar method of retaining the baffle. If your looking for Leo's you may run into some problems. The company went out of business or went bankrupt or some crap. Never really saw any good info from a reliable source on that matter. But they seem to be hard to find new in the US now.
