    With the new generation of interceptors set to hit dealers real soon, what are the chances there will be some parts compatibility with our bikes? It looks to me that the engine and frame are exactly the same.
    What I really want is the 10 spoke bronze wheels on the newer bikes... Did they change anything that would cause them to definitely not fit?
    Also hopefully there will be some support in the aftermarket- exhaust, intake, suspension and engine mods

    I'm guessing the following:

    Frame = Direct copy
    Motor = Direct copy

    Things swappable/modifyable:

    Swingarm
    Forks
    Exhaust

    Things requiring a lot of work:

    Body Pannels
    Sub Frame
    Tank
    Radiator

    The wheel uses a 5 spoke hub like the 1200 now so new wheel wouldnt fit without new hub

    The frame and engine are 6th gen carry overs.

    --- The rear wheel would work if you buy a new hub, rear brake. But the 8th is separate brakes so you would have to delink.

    -- The subframe and parts should be a bolt on with some work to get the parts you need to swap over.

    - If you wanted to take the whole front end --- wheel, brakes, forks, triples, it would bolt on without much work. The front end is a new design so just the wheel or rotor alone wont work.

    cheers
