Can any of you fine folks give me any indication of what my Honda made top box and hard bags would be worth? They are from a 2006 VFR and are Galactic Black. They are in very good condition (I would of course have pics) and would come with the mounting hardware. I am wondering what would be a fair price to ask for these things? All together, seperate, it makes no matter to me.

    Thanks!

No doubt you'll get different opinions. For whatever is worth, I bought my hard bags for less than $300 including the hardware, brackets and the grab rails. Seller had them on his bike but didn't like them, nor needed them and decided to sell them at that price with no haggling involved.
They were not a 10 out of 10 condition. One elastic strap was broken, no scratches and came with the OEM bag liners. The trunk I paid $350 brand new off of a CL seller.

    Thanks for your input.

Sounds like you got a killer deal on your side bags! It seems crazy that your top box cost more than the side bags.

I'm not sure if David Silver Spares still sells the black saddlebags (they are not listed on the website, but they might still have them), but when they did, they were $495 new. Seems there's quite a range on prices people pay for used OEM saddlebags. I'd say it ranges from $300-$500 or so.

Not sure about the top mount/box. I'd say 50% of the new price sounds about right. So, about $300-350?

Theres a couple of brand new complete sets on ebay uk for £725 plus delivery which is $1200 so I would think around $550-$600 plus delivery would be fair

Thanks for all the input guys. I think I have a pretty good idea of what to ask for them now. And I have a good idea about shipping as well.
