Hi, I'm a 57 year old guy that's looking to get back into regular riding after being more or less absent from motorcycling for 20 some years. My previous experience includes 19 years of regular to very regular riding, 2 seasons of MX racing, and the ownership of more than 20 off, on-off, and strictly street motorcycles (not including the basket cases and "rollers" that I never finished). Big deal huh? Well, no not really.

Meanwhile, I'm thankful to be joining the VFR World because I'm in the process of buying a 2nd Gen ('86) VFR 700. I, like just about everyone else, wanted a VF or VFR since the first VFs came out in '83 (I was a Yamaha dealership mechanic at the time). However, marriage and kids kept me from pursuing this until now. Unfortunately, I know little or nothing about VFs and VFRs (except that they're great bikes with a very strong following in the world of motorcycles).

So, long story still too long, here I am.

    Thanks for having me!

That's awesome man, and welcome! I'm 25 and just got my '86 700 on the road at the start of the season. I was never really aware of V4 Hondas until my pops got this one in a trade. I went to his house to work on something else and saw it sitting in the garage and knew that it must be mine! The lines on the body and the look blew me away, and that was before I even got it running. It's a great line of bikes and I feel like I've found a lifelong love. I'm already wanting to add a 3rd gen to the stable as well. :black_eyed:
