Opinions on Valentino Rossi

You have to wonder sometimes is the Race Fixed or not, it seems to me that is the case. Just like what happened to cycling, there maybe other reason why he wins so much. Do the other riders pull back, does Rossi use some magic juice that no one knows about? How can one rider win so much when all the Racers are riding just as fast a motorcycle. What edge does Rossi have? He must have something extra that make him win so much. Could talent be the reason? I am not so sure.:tyrannosaurus:

Probably dyes his hair, eats pizza, is gay and has a Harley. With that combination how could anybody not be faster than the fast guys?

I figure that is about as good an analysis of The Doctor as I have read here so far.

 

Jim. You obviously have been proven wrong. Rossi is riding brilliantly in 2014 and still has the drive and talent to match his desire.

He has found new speed. I don't think he ever lost his drive even though Ducati tried to wring it out of him. Hell if bradl had not come in hot and punted him off the track he would have been on the podium every race so far. If he was on the Honda it would be him and MM 1 or 2 each race. He may be long in the tooth but still has skill, will and balls to dice with the youngsters.

 

France this weekend, should be interesting.

 

Just saw the free practice times. This track has a history of not being nice to Rossi and it is continuing. In 11th.

 

After qualifying looks like Rossi topped Jorge at least. Gee, I wonder who got pole position??? (and a new lap record)

 

Lol, yeah the kid seems to be doing that in every race. I would really like to see Rossi and him dice it up like they did a few races last year. That was a lot of fun with so many underlying stories. The old pro and the rookie kid. Rossi seemed to enjoy their competitiveness. His interviews were fun.

Has anyone ever won every race before?

 

Can't wait for this weekend!! Mugello is an amazing track, lets hope for an exciting race. Maybe Jorge can get a good start and result. Wonder what Rossi's lid design will b this year.

 

For data on what is now called Moto-GP, Google "grand prix motorcycle racing" . Top gun is Agostini.. in the 500s. There is more than one class in this type racing.
