Does anyone know of any sources still avalable for 4 into 1 exhaust systems for these bikes? I noticed reference for the required use of such exhausts on the Daugherty motorsports website. I also seen reference to the hindle set up but after looking at the site for the maker it appears they no longer offer it or at least do not list it on their site any longer. So with that said i would like to know of any other sources or if theres any gains really made by converting to a 4 into 1.

I looked around for a Hindle set up but I couldn't find anything. Let us know if you find something!

Micron was told to sell them....
but my advice is to operate as I did for my '86 Viffer.

From original exaust U can get what U need . The final curve can be provided by an exaust repairer (a good one!) and u must provide race can.

The look, sound and revving are MUCH better

no, Ive got rid of box. Tube had been connected directly to each other,
and then, on the left in my case, to race can.

I dont know ur local shop.
But I know that with my race exaust, K&N flt and Dynojetted carbs the tacho needle hardly stops AFTER red zone. Power deliovery is quite strong and smooth from low to red zone.

It is the same modifications race Viffers did in the last 80s.

it's better U chose something safe as a Dynojet carb kit.

Then if U have some manuality and ure able to work on bike u can even fit it yourself.
But anyway a carb syncronization and a mech's hand is recomended to tuneup everything.

You can do the jetting yourself, just take your time and follow the instrutions. And don't use Dynojoke kits, go with the Factory kits, much better quality.

My 4-into-1 without a collector does pop when I chop the throttle. It is annoying.
