Any of you low rpm cruising dudes ever look down the throttle of the viffer and see the VTEC actuated valves dirty as hell? If you ride long period of time without clearing its throat it just gets nasty in there because all the atomized gas just collects like a pocket when the valves are inactive and never opens. I now make it a point to pin the throttle to keep that valve nice and clean lol. The previous owner was a older man who used to cruise so first thing I noticed is how carbon and unburned gas just collects and forms a varnish there, I'm hoping to run some seafoam through and keep hammering the throttle to clean those intake runners clean.
Good to know my lead hand (is that the bike version of lead foot?) does something good for my bike. 1st gear on the start of every ride generally breaks the VTEC barrier for me.
