Wow, I was just posting it because it is beautifull and has a Honda timeless colour scheme.
Next I'll be posting a discussion on oil, spark plugs, tyre pressure and fuel octane all in one to see if anyone answers!:hss:

Streetbikes generally of less than 500cc displacement have never been great sellers in the US. Honda sells a shitload of smaller bikes we never see.

True. But in recent years with the economy in the dumper, whats been selling? Between 2011-13 Honda introduced 19 new models, many small displacement bikes. The CB/R/F 500 trio being global models made in Thailand with low labor costs. That directly translate into low msrp's at he local Honda dealer. Ask your local Honda dealer what models do they sell more of? I'd bet for any given time period they move more CBR250's than CBR600/1000, VFR1200 combined.

Can we open up the top speed debate? ;)

The Billy boy bike is geared to young riders who value looks over function and flash.

there are just too many lightly used bikes that non -riders buy just to look cool sitting in the garage, before I would consider anything thing-it gets old real fast. This is a Bad Billy bike-just ready for a huge slide into the bushes trying to look cool.:ranger:

You may have a point but asking a dealer aboot sales unless the answer is in writing isn't worth much.

I would like to know the top speed of the 250s to start with..;)

Those guys are the fast guys and even on a stocker would kick some serious ass. Likely on a 125 too. Yes, the bikes are MOTO-GP bikes and neither of us are ever going to ride one. even slowly.

I'd agree with him too if in his will and testament I got one of those bikes. Of course so far there is not much evidence that supports the comment but I am still up for the bike.

The problem, is Honda is no longer the big bike dog in Japan. They are a car company now & have lost their way there too ! Last weeks MCN in the UK had a feature on Japan & the bike companies.
Just under 600k units made in Japan, 75% are <250cc. Honda is now the third largest bike manufacturer in Japan, global units may be different.
