    Greetings from Norway!
I'm a 24 year old who is pretty green when it comes to motorcycling, but I've got 2 seasons with "experience" so far and can't wait to get more!

My bike is a '02 dark blue vtec imported from Germany in 2012. I'm the first norwegian owner and it has done about 37 000km so far. I'm really happy with it for both looks and driving experience :)

I've ordered the Delkevic carbon mini 8" slip-ons about a week ago as I would like some more sound. Can't wait to get it home and install it :D
Does anyone have any experience with Delkevic exhaust?
I was thinking of buying downpipes aswell, but I have way to expensive hobbies already, so it'll have to wait a while, atleast, before I get that aswell. Much snowboarding, kiting and next year I'll go for parachuting, so I need to save some money, because it isn't exactly cheap to get a coarse and then the parachute. If I'm happy with the sound with just the slip-ons I guess I won't buy it though, but time will show :)

Would you guys recommend a K&N aircleaner instead of the original? I'm going to change it soon, and thinking of buying a K&N, but if there's no difference I don't really see the point.

Hopefully we'll have a nice summer ahead of us!

    Edit: Now with some pictures

Welcome aboard. Afraid I have no experience with your "alleged" model (it will stay that way until we see some pics) so can't really help you out there, though I'm sure others will jump in with plenty of advice/opinion. Ride safe.

Hello and welcome to the madness! Congrats on the new to you VFR!

Aftermarket airfilters are kinda like "what kinda oil should I use" and "what tires should I use" threads.....everybody has a different opinion. Some will say the K&N will make a world of difference, however, it can also let in a lot more dirt others say. In reality, on a "stock" VFR, replacing the air filter will mostly likely do very little, to no discernable difference. That said, I replaced my stock filter years ago with a BMC filter mostly because it can be cleaned and is reuseable (it does flow more air they say too). Dat be whazz I do, un whyz I do it....

Nice colour. An extra bonus if it came with the panniers.

    Welcome to the MadHouse!:welcome:

That dark blue really makes the 6th Gen stand out as the class act in that group photo.

There are already a few other Norwegian VFR owners on here - so you may want to update your forum profile to include a rough location - "My Profile" link at the top of the page. You never know if they live nearby you may be able to form a Norwegian VFR posse!

    :vtr2::vtr2::vtr2::vtr2::vtr2::vtr2:

    Take care

Thank you all for all the greetings! I suppose I'll just go for a new stock aircleaner, atleast in the start :)
And yeah, I was lucky enough to get it with the panniers, but I don't have the one on top. Then again, I haven't had need for it yet either :)

Got my new exhaust yesterday and managed to fit it on. Delkevic mini 8", and I'm really happy with it so far. Both looks and sounds very good :)
A pic with just the parts and one with it on the bike.

Going out for a ride with a couple of friends now to figure out if I need the baffles (hope not).

Squirrelman, that is exactly right! hahah! When I'm heading home for my hometown I got about 5-6 hours ride ahead, and most of the trips I can say that several times!

    Cheers,
