HI folks I'm troy and I am a VFR Addict :)

Just scored my 4th VFR and she is a 1999 with 18500 miles
all stock with the exception of a D & D Exhaust
rode her home 110 miles from another state
(my first ride in over 12 years)
with almost no breaks a crappy rear tire
a Chain that has not been lubed since 1999
and then dropped her off at the Honda dealer :)

I'm am so looking forward to getting her back all safe and ready to ride
with new tires, Fluids, pads, regulator (yes I am changing it just because I can)
fresh oil and all filters should be 100% stock and ride-able soon!!!
    How's she look?

I'm Located around Chicago Illinois and had to drive to Milwaukee Wisconsin to get this beast
I have ALWAYS been in love with the gear driven Bikes Mine sounds like a 350 Chevy with a super charger on it!!

I wish I knew how long it will be in the shop?
Oh well gives me time to get all new riding gear as apparently My wife washed my Honda racing Jacket on HOT and shrunk it!! ;)

    thanks guys
I cant wait to get her back and on the road again
I'm even having the dealer detail the bike for me so its perfect inside and out.
I'm replacing all the wearable's I could possibly think of all at one time to get them out of the way
and to establish the service records

You can't use the seat cowl with the grab bars fitted. It is one or the other.

    Nice score!
I bought a 98 from a guy just outside Milwaukee back in 2007. The RR failed while I rode it home back to Crystal Lake.:sorrow:

Other than that she was a minter that was just sitting under a cover in a rich dude's garage.

I dealt with Desplaines Honda for the most part as they had awesome prices on Dunlops.

    They didn't last long eh!

Oh and here she is, without the smoke.
