I recently had my VFR800 Vtec 08 on Dynorun. The curve is weird after that. Just before Vtec goes into dips curve much.
They do not really know how to make it good.
Anyone with experience of this phenomenon and have an answer?

Stupid as it sounds, your getting too much fuel. Use an o2 sensor and watch the afr and lean it out to maintain the curve. You will have a flat spot, cant get around that as the vtech kicks in too late, it should kick in about 6000rpm but it doesnt. Make sure that as soon as the vtech kicks in you add fuel to cover the increased air and make damn sure you dont go too lean! For a better power line, not increased power but smoother, try to maintain the same afr from vtech on to max rpm.

    Hope that helps

That is a nice profile, that flat spot in the middle is probably the best you can do unless you reprogram the vtech cut in.

Yeah, I think that flat spot is the nature of the VTEC beast . . .

Conv.ert to a single throttle body (larger to handle the needs of course) and a single o2 sensor then run in closed loop until vtech conditions are met. Then open up vtech. If careful plotting and tuning is done then we could see a fair power gain and a mild performance boost. Not to mention a smoother power curve. Lots that can be done with a custom Ecu

Mine is running well after a second mapping. 105Hp at Wheel and just a small flat Point.
