    Does anyone know of a source for a factory top case for a sixth gen 06 vtec in black? I suspect they were only made in silver and red for that year. Thanks.

    Well that answers that quickly. Any one have any experience with these compared to a givi v46 on a alurack? Are they as sturdy and practical? I mean I would like to keep the original look to match the original panniers but the ad says they only have a ten pound carrying capacity. What has a volume of 46 litres and ways less than ten pounds? Popcorn ?

    Welcome. That is a little odd... the OEM rear carrier rack has a weight limit of 20lbs and the top box alone weighs 11lbs, leaving a cargo carrying capacity of 9lbs. Must have been designed with the styrofoam motorcycle delivery industry in mind.
