    Hello all,

Just picked up my first VFR this is a bike I have always wanted since I was a kid and now finally have a 3rd gen. Bought my bike a few weeks ago with some issues that the PO could not fix. In the last week have stripped the bike and have it almost ready to ride for the first time in years. I hope you guys can help me out. I am obsessed with the beauty and engineering of this bike.

I also have a 1978 Yamaha XS400 that I brought back to life after sitting since 1982. Its just not a practical bike to ride long distances or any wild places.

Glad to be part of the club!

Welcome aboard. You're out west of me. I ride primarily north of you in the foothills.

Congrats and welcome to the V4 family. Did the bike include fairings? What are your ultimate plans for it?

Rollin, yea it included all the plastic but he had it all of to try to diagnose the issue. Figured it out this am. I am now the proud owner of a bike with a bad motor. I should of known better. Figures why the last two owners got rid of it. The plans are (once its running) I bought whole rear section off a 06 cbr 600rr that I will install. The front end I bought was off of a 01 929. Pretty excited to get this thing built and ride.
