I saw that thread about 6 months back when he first posted. Really intense build and one I was going to model, but everyone says my 93 in white is too pretty to mess with.

wow... those are some serious skills he has! I was patting myself on the back for doing the fender delete :glee: and would never tackle that kind of project.. don't have the skills, time, patience, skills... did I mention skills.. I do envy guys like that who can take on projects like that.

Yeah it's a sweet ride but I don't understand why he didn't go with a high mount or under-tail exhaust to show off that sexy single side swingarm. I think I would also opt to include a chain guard to avoid chain lube getting flung everywhere.

Yah, it's going to be a B trying to keep that clean but such simplicity... That looks like it could be a current model. Those molds are worth some $ to the right people too. I wonder what this guy does for a living??? Engineer???

I can remember reading about this build on VFRD and thinking WOW, those are some amazing skills. It wasn't until a while later that I realized he lived only and hour and a bit away form me. The owner and creator of that bike is one that I am now proud to call a friend. Apexandy truly is an amazing craftsman and the way he hand crafted all the body work was simply incredible. Damn fine work for someone who builds cabinetry for a living.

After meeting Apex and seeing his bike in person, I can honestly say that it is that much more impressive in real life as he has left no detail unfinished. He is truly a craftsman and very humble for lack of a better word. To see and hear the bike in a video is one thing, but to see it for real is quite another all together. I haven't met up with Apex recently but I look forward to seeing what he has changed over the winter.

It's simply amazing what Canadians are able to think up after a few ice cold LaBatt Blue beers.

We have a lot of time usually during the winter to gather round the fire in the ol igloo and think up new ways to play with our bikes. LOL.

We should start a timeshare thing. In Washington and Oregon we don't have any igloos that I know of. We do have Yurts.

I would like to put the mach 1 91 in the igloo of another neighbor of the zoom guy. Check out Goldammer... in Kelowna, BC.

I figured he has some amazing carpentry skills when I saw those mockups.. but who would have guessed he could have applied it so flawlessly to that build?! Good spacial temporal reasoning skills can carry over to so many tasks. He could do more than cabinets and that bike proves it. It's got me rethinking my plan for my 91.
