Hi all, just wanted to say a quick hello.

Im new to bikes, always wanted one but finally got round to it this year.

I passed my tests and, after much reading about sports tourers decided the vfr was the best way to go.

Welcome aboard. They can be a bit top heavy (at least my 4th gen is) so be carefull when making slow turns and pushing it around. Although no sport bike, they are still pretty quick on acceleration so take it really easy for a while. One other thing (and I may be completely wrong here), I think some models were subject to a wiring harness recall, so it might be an idea to confirm that.

Thanks gents, Vfr world looks like a great community.

I have a givi case on the way Bill, I bought the bike with the rack but the seller kept his box.

Bryan, I nearly dropped it the day after getting it as the weight took me by surprise! I have checked the honda website and it appears the electrical recall was done but there is an outstanding one on a brake joint which ill have to get booked in, thanks for the tip.
