Just out of curiousity, what temp do you let your bike warm up to prior to riding?

I'm in Phoenix and the bike is pretty much at room temp (95-100) when I start it. You don't let a car warm up before driving it, so is it necessary to let the bike warm up???

I let mine warm up to 150 F before taking off, just so the Vtec engages. I probably would at least let it warm up to 130 even if I didn't have Vtec. I always let my vehicles run a little before taking off, to get at least a little bit up to temperature.
I'm not saying that this had anything to do with it, but, I have a pickup with 208,000 mi. It doesn't burn any oil and hasn't needed any major engine work either. Just 2 water pumps, and a catalytic convertor (belts, wires, and hoses too). I use synthetic oil in all of my vehicles also.

 I give "ALL my vehicles & M/C's a min of 3 minutes warming up, & use Syn oil as well changed often.

I let mine warm up until the temp. reading actually shows on the dash, which is invariably 98 degrees. I'm in Phoenix also, so right now that's just the time it takes to put on the helmet, jacket and gloves. Still, I'll take it easy the first few minutes on the road until it gets to about 150, just as a habit.

I start the engine and let it idle for as long as it takes me to get my helmet and gloves on (maybe a minute?). That's plenty to let the oil pressure come up. I take it easy riding out of the neighborhood, and in a couple of miles, it's up to temperature.
