Does anyone know if the base map on the Power Commander website is good? I bought a used VFR with a PCIII and no info on it. It has Leo Vince slip-ons. Will the map on the website for the slip ons be any good? I feel like the mileage is quite poor and it must have been tuned with performance in mind, I'd like a little better mileage.

I just got it, so I guess I cannot really say the mileage is that poor (probably some old gas and needs a service with new plugs), but after 40 miles the fuel gauge reads 2-3 bars down, so who knows.

the maps can be good if you have a close match. the existing map will have a comment name tto let you know which it is. save it to pc before adding any others.

good to know. If i change it and don't like it, I can change it back at least. I just want to get decent mileage.

after market exhaust and air filter i guess. I put a pcv on a couple months ago, leo vince, K&N air, and map from pcv site and it's fine.

basically every bike is different so even if you pick a map exactly for your setup it still might be off a little. What i concluded is try diff maps, ride each abit and if all else fails you go to dyno. Or if you know what your doing adj the map yourself ( i dont and looking at map it doesnt even make sense to me).
