Hi, i was wondering what s the square thing on the small black cover with ''fuse'' written on it? This cover is on the right side, near the frame. On that cover there is a 1/2 inch square with white center. Looks like a diagnostic light of some sort.....

    It s on a 1991 VFR 750F

    Thanks.

Sorry I can't directly help answer your question but I think it would really help others - if you could post up a picture or two showing the item in question. Hopefully that should get an answer. But its always possible it is some sort of aftermarket extra - which is why it helps to have pictures (click the "insert Image" icon - two to the right of the envelope - then follow prompts to upload images from you PC).

If you don't want to keep adding your bike specs with every post on here - its easy to update your forum profile ("my profile" link at the very top of this page) to include the specs of you bike and a rough location city/town, as you may find someone else on here who is nearby and willing to offer help.

    Take care

Give him a break. He's Canajun eh! We just found out about those things called pictures. Ours usually turn out a little snowy though.

Yvesandlow. What I experience a lot when looking at photos suppled for questions such as yours, is that the phot is very close up and unless you are the typpe that is intimate with your bike, it is difficult to see where on the bike the photo actually refers to. For us old shits, maybe a couple photos, one from a bit of a distance with someone/thing pointing at the area of the close up for our reference.

    Many thanks and good luck.
