A friend of mine just read Stoner's book. He was a Stoner hater until he read it and now really likes the guy. I think I'll read it too. He really is a true rags to riches story.

Well if it was over time, then Micky D would be the big dog, know one has ever matched his astonishing level compared to all other current riders, he was for a few years in a league of one. They call the top flight boy "Aliens" now because they are a whole level higher than the rest, well Micky D was the first Alien IMO & was at least 2 levels higher than the surrounding field.

I'm sorry to call bullshit on this. You know why they had to do CRT's? Because Honda pushed the rules and drove the bikes costs up so exponentially that nobody else could afford it but Yamaha and Ducati (Phillip Morris footing the bill). Suzuki, gone, Kawasaki, gone. Aprila as a factory, no too expensive, BMW, same thing. CRT's were a necessity for the satellite teams due to cost. What was Dorna supposed to do given the bike prices? They had no choice.

And in many articles it was pointed out, that Casey was bitching about rules (when did he not bitch?) pointing the finger at Dorna when his employer, Honda, was the culprit. Idiot.

It is your god given right to disagree BUT don't blame Honda or the rest of the other manufactures for driving the cost up it's called the premier class for a reason this is the cutting edge of motorcycle technology. You ever been to the drag strip and watch the outlaw class but the guys that have more money to spend are the ones that win races the cold hard truth but money buy's everything including win's. The way I see it if you can't pay to play then you can't race! I think now with these factory race bike's Honda & Yamaha are selling is a much better idea that the CRT class they original had but we will see it's still to early to tell.

For all the MM fans.... http://www.motorsportmagazine.com/race/motogp-race/marc-marquez-he-is-playing/
I have noticed that MM seems to be less "on the fringe" this year and seems to just be more in control, yes there was that little "bobble" on the last corner at Austin, but for the most part he hasn't been making some of the mistakes he was last year. Looking forward to Jerez, MM, DP and JL are all from Spain and you know all of them are going to be vying to be, in pole position, on the podium, and in the #1 spot. I have a feeling there is going to be some real "dicing" going on!

Spain may produce the best races of the season. GP bikes, alien skills, millions of dollars and huge egos should make the Spaniards a little more aggressive.

Anyone see Misty's interview with Doohan? Very interesting. Also telling that he never mentioned Stoner at anytime. Would love to see the 2 Australians on an old school 2 strokes with no electronics.
