Mine was a 1982 (I think) Suzuki GS 650 E. I spent a year based in the states in Portland, Oregon. Next door neighbour had this bike under a tarp, he'd bought it 2nd hand and never done anything with it, it was manky. I bought it for 600 bucks, spent a day giving it the mother of valets and I then rode that thing all over the west coast. It never put a foot wrong. Think I've still got a photo somewhere.

My ZRX1100... I never should have sold that bike, and I'm actively looking for another one like it.

Lots of those engines still running and racing in vintage class. Some with Trackmaster frames and real brakes ect..

The rumor was/is that the first of those delivered were to the Port of Houston and had 80 hp.. May be true or an old widows tale..

I'd like to say all of em. But the one that is probably most dear is the one that embedded the need to two wheeling as a part of my personality. My first ride, first love, first taste of freedom of the two wheeled lifestyle. I had it all when I was 7 (been riding since) and I'll always remember and want back my 70's z50 trail bike. 3 speed with my Cool Bell helmet in complete 70's style RWB glitter lightning bolts and stars (they made a throw back last year that looked similar).
I rode that thing for miles and miles. It took me far from home, lots of hang time with my like minded buddies I met out on the trails. It was cool.

Every time I go to a bike show and see modded H2's I almost lose it.

A guy from my High school had a bunch of them. He graduated 2 or 3 years before I got to High school but he was legendary with his H2’s. I guess he never got over it. Here is an old flyer of his when he was putting H2 motors in carts. He also did KZ 900 engines in the carts. Sick fast.

Well, this may be hard to believe, but most of all I wish I had not sold my 1953 (I think) Vincent Black Shadow. A high school buddy of mine and I went in on it together in 1960 for $500 rat raced it around Detroit all summer and then blew second gear. I found a new gear at a shop somewhere in New England but was over $100.00 so we decided we had had fun with it and sold it for $350. So yes, I sold a Black Shadow for $350...
I also really wish I had kept my first Triumph which I bought in 1959, a 1946 3T which Bob Leppan (Gyronaut) built the engine for.

Not at all. I got offered a Vincent Comet for fifty bucks once.. It was complete and running. Owner was getting out of the military..

Several Vincents in my MC club. Some restored, a couple updated and two Norvins.

I see this thread turning into, what bike would I have if I could? The dream bike thread is born from the ashes of the what if I could get it back thread. I suppose we could combine the two?

But we should attempt to stay away from the obvious RC30's etc etc ...

I saw this last night on Ebay...http://www.ebay.com/itm/171282164859?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
but it is gone gone gone

I would however like to get my 91 back! It's on Craigslist right now ironically, http://mattoon.craigslist.org/mcy/4344529933.html

I really regret getting rid of my 98 CBR600 F3. Owned it from new & she was a great bike, traded her in for the VFR & it was a bit like turning my 16 YO daughter over to Viking raiders.
My old Guzzi, simply because it sounded so friggin wonderful when you started her up.
84 Moto Morini 500 SEI, apart from being a good bike, is now worth a shitload more than I paid for it.

RC51 (SP2). I put a bunch of money in it. Ohlins suspension, Sato everything, Marchesinis......had to sell it due to a layoff. I miss that bike.
