    Hi everyone again,

After a 5 year absence I am the proud owner of an anniversary edition 6th gen vfr. I did my adventure in insanity and decided I loved my vfrs and its spoiled me for anything else. I sold my 5th gen and got a BMW 1200rt which was an awesome old mans bike - but every time I got on it I felt like I aged considerably. It sounded awful, was sluggish and looked really unsporty. I sold that and got a Suzuki sv1000n which was awesome speed wise, sounded great but it just didn't have that 'I love my bike' factor. And the naked look (or even half fairing look) isn't endearing. I sold that and contemplated a gsxr750. Looked great. Rode great. But just wasnt sure. Then I decided on an 07 cbr1000rr. Looked really great and rode smooth as pie. But literally, on my way to pick it up, I saw the anniversary vfr on cl. The owner had just listed it. Was listed for 1500 more than the CBR but it brought up all those old feelings I had from my 5th gen vfr. I just absolutely had to go see it. So I did. And now I have a brand new looking 6400 mile 6th gen anniversary red white and blue bike parked in my garage. It rides similarly to my old vfr but it looks oh so much prettier.

So hi everyone and boy am I glad to be back on a vfr saddle.

Good to be back, aint it?

Post pics before your hounded, find the 07 vfr registry and find your vin, claim it as yours. Or if its not there then add it.

Now as promised, the heckeling begins.

Lol. For me anyways; the rwb color scheme was a must have in order to justify the price premium the previous owner was asking for ...

And just what the hell that beauty is doing "parked in my garage"? Go ride the crap out it!
Was just in your neck of the woods last July -a few miles from the garden of the Gods- great roads to get there from here. If you go to "the spirit keeper" tavern, say hi to skinny for me.

Welcome back! And congrats on the recent acquisition, RWBs seem to have a universal appeal, just a classic look to them IMO.

I know, spoke to skinny last night. Had never met him or his wife, they gave me a place to stay for three days, and they are great people. He has a couple of old Harleys and working on an even older in his garage. Tell him Jerry from California sent you.
I was there barely a week before the big storms hit and after the big fire. I posted the ride report somewhere in here in case you want to read it.

Kind of funny the bikes we chose to ride, my old and missed R6 Yamaha 2002- I traded it for a much liked SRT-4 -its modded as far as a stock turbo can go. I then really wanted to get another bike, but one that could do some touring-don't like shaft drive. I was looking at a Yz 1000 and a Honda valkie 15 vfr car.jpg vfr car2.jpg IMGP0290.jpg vfr car.jpg vfr car2.jpg IMGP0290.jpg 00-but decide it was just too big-maybe a mistake that v6 engine must be a monster. The Honda vfr 800 however had so many great quality's and the v4 sound sold me-I still like to go fast sometimes, but sometimes I like to do slow too-I like the MPG the 800 would get too-and how cool riding around slow using only 8 v instead of 16 eating up all the gas-87 octane too. Oh here is a Pic of Mr. Ceasar My Grand champion Top Show Himayalan-Persain Top Show cat-his kittens buy me VFR parts! LOL!:kc10:

It sometimes is funny how we arrive at our vfrs. I never truly missed mine until I bought my next bike and realized how much better the vfr did stuff than that bike did. I think I need a show cat as well so its kittens can help me buy more accessories ... Lol. Nice journey sunofwolf.
