Does anybody have a front cam pulse generator for cyl's 2 & 4? Where is the best place to order one?
Better yet has anyone had any luck with fixing them [and how'd ya do it] when they drip oil where the wires come out. I was thinking epoxy.
Are there any other years and models besides '86-'87 VFR 700/750's I can get one off of?

I'm pretty sure that all the early VFs used the same pulse generator. Go to an OEM parts site and check the fiches for the pulse generator to see if the part nos. are the same for the various models.

Don't worry about minor oil seepage around wires & don't use epoxy there but use a liquid sealant only if all oil residue is removed.

Thanks Squirrelman. It's not really a worry just a dislike. I'm down in there messing with the carbs and what not so just a fix-it detail. I'll go with some Permatex instead.
