Never get a first time twice

    From a legal perspective, here in BC anyways, that would not pass the "Properly Displayed" criteria. No information on that plate can be obscured in the slightest while viewing that plate from the rear. Now would anyone bother you with that, who knows.

    Looks like previous owner just removed the plastic fender and attached the licence plate bracket where he could, to the bracket holding the fender in place.

    Good point Randy. I'll keep an eye out for a fender and get it back in the domain of the legally acceptable. Thanks!

    I don't think you need the fender make that plate more readable. A piece of tin cut and bent down a bit would do the trick. But I would look for the fender. Ugly as they are, they do keep you clean if you ride in the rain. I cut my fender back right to the plate thinking it would still be long enough to keep the spray away. I was wrong and wished I have my fender back.
