I found this forsale. I can not find anything on a K&N power commander. Just a demo jet... it came off a 98 will it work on an 03? I dought it will but I had to ask because some of the dyno jet ones I seen did 98-09..

From what heard and have seen posted here I believe, the Power Commander V will work on 5 and 6 Gen so I would imagine this would be interchangeable too. The only issue is whether the K&N software is even available or for that matter will the DynoJet software work if it isn't (This looks like an OEM piece from DynoJet to me), and is that even available either. I work in an industry where equipment is antiquated and replaced all the time, and most of the time product end of life also means support and available parts too.

Personally, unless you know you can get all the other bits you need for this, I would pass. Something else to consider, is there a Dyno tuner near you who will work with this unit? Sometimes as the old hardware "passes away" so does the knowledge of working with it.

I have a PC III USB, in checking their web site, I didn't see any support or maps for the II.

Problem is, how do connect it to your PC, more than likely with an serial cable, which modern computers don't have.

I would look for a used PC III USB so you can load the correct map with a USB cord.

Of course you can get a PC IV or PC V.

You need to start a new topic. Entitled "has anyone put a power commander 2 on a sixth gen?"
Then beg for a map. Pc2's are great. They offer ignition advance.
