So long time no update! I've finally started tearing the bike down and am pretty stoked so far. that being said I've run into a snag and need a special tool to get the clutch out.

I'm at the point in my tear down of my VFR that i need a Honda 07716-0020203 26 x 30mm wrench to remove the nut holding the clutch in. I really don't want to buy one for $50+ and would much prefer to give someone a couple bucks to cover postage and then send it back when I'm done.

Is there anything out there that is a tool lending resource? If not does anyone have this tool and would you be willing to let me borrow it? I have tons of pics to prove I do need it!

Here's some pics of the progress I've made:

Not sure where you are, but up here I usually find the expensive tools at a place called princess auto. They do mail order and you can order online and have it shipped.
That being said, last bike clutch I removed I took the plates out then used a large socket and a strap wrench to remove the basket. Not sure if that method can be used on your bike. But still worth looking into.

good idea, but won't work. the nut is recessed and i can't get anything in there. i'm going to pick up an angle grinder today and make my own tool by grinding down a socket. i've seen a few posts where other guys do that and it worked, plus i don't have an angle grinder so it's an excuse, er, valid reason to buy a new tool.
