Yeah Scubalung, that'd be cool - I'd need a few of those GoPros to come along for the ride. Of course, zipping up & down my street is one thing... Hitting the apexes just right in a vision impaired costume head is quite another :)

...and I still haven't mastered the wheelie. 25 years of riding, and I can't figure it out. No one seems to have a method to safely learn without scraping off a license plate. I do know I need some new clutch plates, and they are in the mail - I can't slip this thing without the plates chattering and grabbing.

Nice ride! I just signed papers today on red '04 with 3,600 miles - can't wait to pick it up next week and will post pics. Are Helibars the most popular and do they bring the bars both up and back?

    Welcome pilotct.

As far as heli-bars go, they bring the bars up about 1 1/2 inches and back about 1 1/8. Granted that doesn't sound like much, but as far as ride height goes it makes a big difference in the angle of your back and weight on your wrists. I highly recommend them. I have never gone back to my stock bars.

Oh, and you will get a lot of flak if you don't post pics, so show us your new ride when you get it.

Thanks to all - I will post pics of my red beauty when I pick her up on 3/21. Question - I am interested on opinions on optimal suspension settings. I am 6'2" and 220 lbs and the prior owner was 5'7" 170 lbs so I imagine I will need to adjust. Appreciate any advice.
