Cruise control shot in the dark.

So after doing some carb work on my wife's VFR , I took it out for a test ride. Didn't go more than 5 miles but on my return, noticed the throttle side Throtleister bar end GONE! Went looking for it but you can only imagine how far off the road something that dense would bounce.

My plea: anybody have that side or the set they want to part with? I know what a new set would er.. Set me back. It's in stainless.

I before E except after C and when ya mean shot instead of shit.

Did somebody maybe nick it? Kids playing around and loosened it too far.

The folks at Throttlemeister are not some bigass corporation and they might have just the replacement for your missing part..

Well found the edit button on the full site. Yup Badbilly I think you are right. I need to stop being cheap and give them a call. No chance of kids in my garage. As I recall she bought the bike with the TM's on it and it was a little tight when engaged but sloppy loose when dis-engaged and I may have been trying different shims and left it too loose.
    Story of my life....

Once i'm set up on an interstate cruise, i often use the idle adjustment screw to set my speed. Crazy maybe, but that's me to a "T".
