Deep South intro...

I've been lurking! Time to join up. Huge fan of the VFR and I am lucky to have this wonderful machine at my disposal. It actually belongs to my wife but since I do all the mAintenence on it, I get riding rights. 1996 all stock with 18 k on the clock. Lowered 1" front and rear. Love this bike!

So how long have you been lurking???

 

Thanks Pliskin. She is clean because I've had her down to the bare essentials and know every nut and bolt on her. So far the only thing replaced was the rectifier/regulator. I had to go through the carbs twice as I let her sit up with corn gas in her. Never again.
Been lurking about 6 months. Here's another shot.

Thanks, like I said, it's my wife's bike. I ride a 'Busa and we double on it or our BMW R110rt. All three are older with a combined age of 44 years.

When you get a chance it is a good idea to update your forum profile using "My Profile" tab right at the top of the page to include the year/specs of your VFR and a rough location - city/state is fine. That way if you encounter problems you may find someone nearby willing to swing by and offer advice in exchange for some beer tokens.

Launched in 1987 the Honda CBR1000F, also know as the Hurricane, is a sport touring motorcycle manufactured by Honda from 1987 to 1999...

 

D'oh! I completely missed the hurricane reference! Good one. Down here Katrina is mostly referred to as "the storm".
