2014 V-STROM DL1000 - Inspired by Woody Wood Pecker ?

    The VSTROM / DL1000 has always been considered a comfortable, competent machine with a great engine overlapping some of the qualities that make the VFR800 a great road based allrounder.

    The V-Strom while undeniably capable also often appears in the top Ten modern bikes hit with an ugly stick. Must admit he 2014 looks better than its predecessors but does anyone else think the front looks similar to the original goofy looking Woody Wood Pecker ? :confused-new:

    Wana see one in the showroom. Duz look like a Spatzi, going after the Bavarian crowd fer sure. Muffler is sure to get rave reviews too I am sure. ; )

    I checked one out at the dealership. Since it has a tire hugging front fender, I'm not sure why the beak was even required unless it is a styling exercise to tie in the whole "transformers" headlight nacelle thingsmabob.
