Finally got my VFR

When I went on my first shopping trip to the Honda dealership years ago, I was sure I wanted a VFR. I let the snot-nosed kid salesman talk me into a CBR 600. Don't get me wrong, I loved that bike... until I wrecked it. So I replaced it with a 1000. Had that for a short while and then my wife convinced me to "retire".

Well, we all know that once you've been bitten by the bug, you simply can't retire. So after a couple of years of wearing her down, she finally relented and I am now the proud owner of a 2007 red VFR. I scored one locally with only 3,000 miles on it!

Power Commander V, I have used PC III and it made a lot of difference in the 1200-3200 RPM Range. Plenty of threads on "fuel mapping" and Power Commanders.
Re-maps your fuel injection table for custom exhaust, etc. Simple to install.

 

Nice find! By far the best red on the planet...of course I'm a bit biased ;-) But for real, someone comments on my the paint on my bike EVERY time I ride.

 

I told my wife I was getting a bike back in 2006. A week later the salesman delivered it to my home cause I had never ridden a bike before that. Sometimes it is not wise to ask some questions cause the answers may not be to your liking.

 

BTW Spanky. Welcome to the world. Red is not my favorite colour. But I have made and exception for that shade for sure.

 

Thanks! Black would've been my first choice but this shade of red has grown on me rather quickly. Also scores points with the missus because of the increased visibility.
