Posted this also in VFR Discussion:pulled the panels off, lifted the tank. Removed the EVAP canister, with the tank vent hose going into a low area of the frame. Disconnected the solenoid, and was wondering if that will generate a code error.
Next, pulled the rear pair stuff and the PAIR solenoid up by the airbox. Pretty sure no code errors for that. Plugged the intake into the airbox. Removed the air filter; may get a BMC for a replacement. I think I need to remove the lower part of the airbox to get to the front Pair connections. I have a CBR block off plate for the front. but I think I need a couple of RC51 block off plates from Dan Kyle for the rear pair covers. The ECM is just forward of the tank near the steering head?
I want to either splice 1 to 5th gear, and 2nd to 6th gear on the GPS, or hopefully Bazzaz will come out with one soon. I called them today and they said a couiple of weeks for their FI,AFM, and Z-Bomb to be ready. I also will disonnect the speed limiter wire; I have the manual and wiring diagram. So, next is possibly a Power Commander V or Bazzaz FI module. The side panels and all the clips. etc are a pain, and I'm thinking to do everything planned all in this little project. I have a Leo Vince slip on BTW.
    Thanks for your input.

I had a Superhawk and am familiar with the pair mod on them. What can you say after doing it on the VFR? Any noticeable improvements or problems solved? I see a "waste of time" comment up there.

PAIR mod no performance increase; just cleans up stuff. Power commander helped my Vifffer 1200; ran 2 bros map.
