Better get some. VTECs aint complete without them IMO. I don't mean you have to ride all the time with them on but I think everyone should own some!

Well I picked her up saturday. To my surprise after not running for almost 2 years there was no jelly or anything at the bottom of gas tank he said he put stabilizer in it. I put my FZR1000 battery in her and she started right up and ran like she was just running yesterday couldnt believe it!!!! I can't wait till the snow is gone!!

Thanks alot... I was debating wether to do white because I really like white bikes and I have free white paint at work and I also have black from when I painted my VMAX.. Now im going to have to paint it like this but the rims will stay black... only if I can do it with single stage paint.. im not sure on how it works with taping things off with single stage paint were if you did two stage you clear coat over it and its all smooth... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm time to talk to the painter at work

Toward the end is what it looks like now. And there's a video. Might I add 135RWHP dyno'd before the muscle jet kit and modified air filter.. hoping its 145 now just haven't had time to dyno it

Its a 1985 Vmax with a 97 crankcase (spin on filter) PCW Built and converted to chain drive 1260cc

Radial brake masters
FZR 1000 6pot calipers
2005 triple tree and forks with progressive springs ( bigger diameter forks 43mm over 85 is 40mm
17" kosman rims anodized black and blue
Blue silicone coolant lines
Painted black with napa single stage paint
Engine painted with Eastwood ceramic engine paint
Muscle jet kit
Custom made seat called the Maxgasser
And much much more lol

Thanks! One of the best sounds in motorcycling is V Max w/ a full pipe. The HoleShot Performance 4 into 2 system sounds pretty good too.

 

Yea I had a the whole holeshot setup on my 2001 bandit 1200 ei pipe, stage 2 jet kit, and timing advance and loved the sound.. with the chain drive conversion you can't have the dual exhaust :/ but with out the baffle in thr kirker 4-1 it sounds like a stock car.

Thanks I put alot of blood sweet and tears into it oh and $$ lol. The VFR won't be like that tho. I now own a house and going to get married this year so i don't have $$$ to blow like I did living at my rents lol.
