I'd like to know if a right side stock muffler exhaust can on a 1995 VFR 750 is the same as the one on my 1986 VFR 750. Found a 1995 for $100. I've only seen pictures of the '95. They look similar but need to know for sure prior to ordering.

They are way different, not even a little close except for being on a Honda.

I have a primo set of take-offs from my '86 VFR700. Not a scratch, blemish, or scuff on either of them. No rust either, they look brand new. I'd be willing to sell them as a pair.....

    Thanks Toe Cutter.
I figured the years are too far apart.
I believe that the only interchangeable parts for my '86 750 are from the '85 to '86 700 or 750.
Am I correct in thinking that???

Rotary - since I have been to enough auctions....for a starting bid I'd have to start low like $25 bucks. :greedy_dollars:
    But since I don't want to get a :black_eyed: I'll do $150.
Rather know what you want for them. I really only need the right side since dum dum (yes that would be me :homer: ) laid my pride and joy down last year on the right side. Now I have to ride a GSXR 750. I have almost everything to put my pride ride back together. Muffler Can, Crankcase cover, a better headlight fairing would be nice but I can fix & repaint the one I have.

Let me know what you're asking and we may make a deal.

Is it only the can you are looking to change out and you pipes past the headers are OK?
You may want to look into a replacement kerker can or Yoshimura slip ons, you would just need to measure your pipe diameters and cut those pipes at the can and slip it on or get them welded on at a pipe shop.

Thanks Dukiedook: It is only the right side can but I'm a stickler for wanting to keep this classic as original as I can. Used to get compliments all the time from people last time I fixed her up and painted her. With parts getting more & more scarce I may have to go with your recommendation. Time will tell.

I know the feeling, I stocked up on a few pipes and cans on feebay when I see them come up for sale at the right price so I am set for now. On my junkier VFR I am thinking about cutting the old cans off it and getting some slip on cans or welding them on to the pipe ends.

Not specifically but you should be able to get a Kerker or Yoshi slip on universal for the pipe size and customize it to fit.
