So I go pulled over on Monday, for no light on my license plate. Only place I could find the part is the dealer yay, its only $156. Then I noticed that my left fork is weeping so I figure hey have them do that and my chain and sprockets while I am there. Well $800 later and I get to ride but I still need to do the 16k service and they want about $2000 for it. Any ideas on where to get cheapper quality service in the North Lake Tahoe, Reno area?

After market fork seals $50-70/ chain and sprockets /Sprockets thru Honda are $100 and chain aftermarket is $98-140 depending on Oring or Xring. The next time you are missing a license plate lite call a salvage yard ..

Did honda include butt lube with that ? .LOL

Yeah k-y was an option, and I did try the salvage yards but no one had the part I was lookin for wihtin an hour drive. After talking to my buddy who builds custom harley's about the 16k service, he told me not to worry about it. So yeah the dealership sucks and I think I might write a letter to honda or something but in the meantime its too late to get my money back. Think I am goning to buy the shop manual and get him to do the work on it for me. The fork seals were 200 with labor, and the chain and sprocket set were 175 plus labor.

Get a Honda manual and do the work yourself. The only thing i have the dealer do is change my tires...
