Yes, I noticed and thought it had to be you. I also noticed your bike there last year as well. I asked around to see who owned it and nobody knew. I rarely see another Interceptor of any era out around town, so I was excited to see it.

Guys, I've only had 2 responses so far and I know there were at least 5 or 6 people on this thread. Email me at stewart239@yahoo.com and I will compile a contact list of all local VFR riders.

I had just started working there last summer so that may explain why noone you talked to knew who I was. I noticed your 500 immediately and had to check it out, was amazed at the condition and low mileage. I don't particularly remember seeing your 750 last year, but then again there is quite a few bikes in that parking lot during summer. Pretty neat the variety of bikes you see there.
My 700 is looking a bit worn and dirty at the moment but I installed new chain and sprockets, plugs, air filter, fuel filter, coolant, etc. to freshen it up for this season and be ready for the trip to Americade. Hopefully this weekend I will have enough time to give it a thorough washing and do some detail work, especially get rid of the surface rust attacking it. I made a mistake and ordered a rear sprocket two teeth lower than stock as the RPMs seemed too high at highway speeds. Turns out the old sprocket was a tooth higher than stock so now it is geared too high, although tolerable as the V-four has a surprising amount of low end which I love. I am going to order another either stock or one tooth lower when I make up my mind.
Hopefully you get more emails for the VFR ride after some more time goes by and people see the post, but if not I would be happy to do a ride anyways with a small number.
