Hello everyone. I just purchased a beautiful 1999 VFR800. It came with a Sargent seat but the rear section is missing. I have the cowl but no rear seat. Since I plan on take my Fiance for rides and things like that I really would like to get a hold of one. I contacted sargent who offered to sell me the passenger section for a whopping $208, More than half the price of the whole seat!!!
Does anyone have a rear section out there who would be willing to part with it. If so, let me know. I would be willing to pay a fair price or possibly set up some kind of trade or other deal. Thanks Guys,
    -Drew

you might be better off trying to find a stock seat to put on for pillion rides, just a suggestion, i have an 03 stock one but don't think it's same seat.

you are actually lucky, id love to not have a seat under my cowl and a storage space, but 02+ they dont make a rider only seat.

if your fiance really loved you, maybe she'll just sit on the cowl?

^ there is a genius up there...stock seat would seem like a good alternative. I rode with a cobin for years and ended up going back to the stocker, I sit higher so I have more leg room, thats just me though. Does sit on the cowl have some double entendre associated with it?
