Been lurking out here since October checking out some of the great posts and knowledge...figured I would post an intro and a few pics. I bought my 2nd VFR in October. My first was an '87 VFR700 and loved the ride but had to part with her to buy a house and start a family. Well, after 20 years and a couple of kids I decided it was time to ride again. My current ride is a '97 VFR750. I looked around a bit at other makes but decided to stick with what I know is a great bike. Got in a few rides and decided to do a cosmetic facelift with new paint including plastics repair and some upgrades based on feedback on the forum. Anyone know the best place to post the details? I took some pics along the way and figured I would share what I learned.

    Here's a few before pics...

Hi and Welcome to the MadHouse:welcome:

Kudos for photos with your first post - and double for choosing red - which everyone knows is the fastest colour :potstir:!

The left side photo suggests the bike has had at least one successful attempt at horizontal parking - so I wonder if frame sliders among the upgrades you went with? As for posting more photos why not head over to the 3rd/4th gen sub-forum where your efforts will I am sure be of interest.

    Meantime take care

Welcome aboard. Nice looking bike and bonus that you got the seat cowl.

The OP needs to hook up with Norcalboy who will take him under his wing and tell him what he should do with his bike, women, pets, shoes, old toothbrushes ect.

This before others get a chance to chimp in and do the same. This is good but should really be limited to no more than ten farkles per post or no more than five articles of the latest fashonista wear with the labels showing.
