Parts interchangability between 84 and 85 VF1000 - fuel pump

    I think I have a bad fuel pump on my 84VFkR. I might have a lead on a working fuel pump from an 85VFkR, and while they look alike, they don't share the same Honda Part number. Anybody know if they are interchangable?

    We didn't get the '84 over here but my guess is it shares the F fuel pump which is slightly different from the '85/'86 R pump? You should be able to make it work.
