I lost one of my set cowl franken bolts. I did an ePay search and came up empty. Guess ePay does not know what "99 VFR Franken Bolt" means. What is the scientific name for those bolts so I can find a pair?

    Thanks

    The name game revisited.

Two Southern Belles are roomies. One goes on vacation to Hollywood and sends an Email to her room mate telling of her adventures in La-la land. She says that in Hollywood they have these folks who go to bed with each other and they are the same sex.

The room mate asks what are these folks called?

The reply is that they are called gay, or homosexual.

The roomie still in the South is shocked and can only say, Oh My!.

Not only that they have men here who like to put there heads well, "down there".

"Oh My Gosh what do they call those men?", is the quick response.

Well honey, " I don't know exactly what they are called but I call mine, "precious."

If you're referring to item #13 in the partzilla fiche, those are called "Shoulder Bolts" and you can find generic versions of them at Grainger, MSC, McMaster Carr, Fastenall, maybe even Tastynuts or a local hardware supplier (not Home Depot, some place that just sells bolts and fasteners)

Shoulder bolts are typically identified by the length of the shoulder, the diameter of the shoulder and the thread pitch.

    Good luck

I call them 6mm X 35mm allen headed Stainless bolts with Stainless tubing over them as spacers. About 10 cents at the hardware store.

Some dudes in California get the bolts that are 36" so they can take out mirrors on cages when lane splitting. The cagers call them by different names.

Yea, that's what I'm sporting now on the right side. It works but the problem is between the difference in weight and arrow dynamics I'm leaning to one side by .05mm and have to constantly fight the over steer in curves. That and people laugh and point at me when I ride by. I feel like a fool.

Has anyone seen or used the new combination GoPro and paintball gun that is helmet mounted . Some of them come with little Harley stickers that can be attached to steel tanks.

VFRs have steel tanks. The little Harley stickers are like refrigerator magnets. "Kills" are confirmed with the GoPro.

Check out a couple of the big paintball meets. Those dudes look like harleydoods without Harleys.
