ive been searchin throught the forum and have found little info on the 88-89 model. i find loads of 86 and 90 but not the inbetween years. is there any reason for this, such as 88-89 model is the same as earlier or later ones ?
That because not many own the viffer within that year. Just post your question and peeps will chimp in to help
Yah that was the period of time where Honda was pushing us to by the Hurricane 600 and 1000 so they didn't leave us the option of a V4 till 1990 when the 3rd gen was born. I bought a 1988 Hurricane 600 in red with white stripes and it was a good steed but no match for the VFR. http://www.google.ca/search?q=1988+...qi2wXT_YCgBA&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1158&bih=652 Check out the 80's Hair on this cover model. http://www.vintagecycleprints.com/backissues/cycleguide/87autcg.jpg
The 1986 750 was officially released here, but thanks to Harley's whining and the tariff tax that followed Honda also released the 700 as a tax beater, which was like 800 bucks cheaper. You can imagine they sold way more 700's. There was a 700 for '87 but no 750
Not likely; you Brit lads are too crypto-monarchistical for my tastes and prolly elite-class plonkers.
Here's a pic of a '88 or '89 VFR750 I took yesterday... But it's in Australia... And it's an RC30, so that probably doesn't count...
No it does count, we could get an RC30 here in 1988 but it was more money than all of us had put together. Local dealer had one on display back in the day.
This one is in pristine condition. It has only 5km (that's correct, 5 kilometres, not 5000km). I think he's asking for offers over AU$100,000... Although it might actually be US$100,000+... I'm not quite sure...
looks like that man dose not need Viagra with that beauty sitting in front of him!!! thats one amazing survivor wish i had that kind of cash!!!
