Any Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse area riders here?

Who you trying to fool, squirrelman? You dont have an end to your season cuz you ride all year round!

I'd be interested in meeting up for the ride. Just say the word.

 

Squirrelman talked me into having my place as the gathering spot for a season end group ride. I'm in the Hamburg, NY area. Anyone interested?

 

Pick a time / date and i *may* be in. In the process of selling our house and attempting to find a new one, which means TONS of work for me. I'm pretty much only getting the chance to ride to / from work right now. Rest of my time is spent working on the house. I'd be coming from Rochester.

A Saturday or Sunday afternoon perhaps ?

I'm in Syracuse. Like tmyoungjr, the only riding I get to do is to and from work, but I might be able to break away..............

 

Any body going to turn the lights on in the WNY area this season?

 

I'm near Syracuse as I currently live in Cortland, NY, which is about a half hour south/southwest. I own a 2002 VFR800A that is from Canada. I love the bike even though it is by no means perfect cosmetically, but I don't care as it rides like a dream. I am all for rides if I have the time.

 

Gonna be a long months befoe we be riding again, Richie, but you DO seem keen !!

I guess I should chime in here since I am sort of in the area...... North country New York here.. Frozen in iced over and fubared till spring...if we are lucky...

 

Yea got that white stuff adding up out side as I type...

 

Not snowing again yet... Weather can't figure out what the hell it wants to do .........

 

I often spend time in Pulaski (north of Syracuse) fishing. I see the lake effect machine is in effect from tonight until Wednesday morning. But its only supposed to drop 3 to 5 FEET of snow over those 36 hours. Yes Crusty, see you in May.

 

Funny thing is that we don't get lake effect... Canton is the farthest it might come. And even then that is stretching it... We are about 70 miles from the interstate in Watertown ...

 

I lived in the thriving metropolis of Penn Yan, NY for 20 years, in the Finger Lakes Region, where it will be -6 degrees F tonight!

The Finger Lakes are just visible under the edge of the clouds. Penn Yan is at the tip of left leg of the lake with the two legs. The large lake is Lake Ontario, the other lake is Lake Erie, and the Niagara River with the Falls in between.

One of the Astronauts was from our area and she took this picture from the shuttle.

If you look real close, you can see squirrelman!
