Hey all. Hope everyone is having a great holiday. After having been a VFR fan for twenty years, I finally pulled the trigger on a 2006 (Non-ABS). The bike has 8,100 miles, a set of Leo Vince slipons and supposedly a Power Commander. No popping on decelleration and only mild surging, so I suspect I will indeed find a PCIII, but I'm not hopeful that the flapper valve fix I've heard about has been done. I'll get some pics up after I go through the bike and get the fluids/plugs/filters changed out. Anything else you fine folks think I should take a look at ? Fork seals aren't leaky, no break fluid or oil leaks were located when looking at the bike. It appears to be pretty well kept and lightly ridden.
Merry Christmas and :welcome: to the madness  Glaad to have you and good to know you are back on the Viffer  She will keep you happy for many years to come.
Welcome to the World. Where about in the PNW? A ride or two down state side is not beyond of reason for me and a couple others here.....when the weather is better of course.
I'm in the Portland area. Technically Vancouver, WA, but noone wants to admit to living in Vancouver, WA. I know it's a ways South of ya, but let me know if you're ever in town.
We have another member who lives in Vancouver. Hootch. I haven't seen him on the site for a while. He and his wife were so gracious as to offer me a roof over my head, a dry warm bed and great pizza and beer the first time I rode down to the annual R3 BBQ in Atascadero a few years back. He also met up with us when we did the Mount Rainier tour a few years back too.
You meet the nicest people on a Honda.....I also own a 77 CJ360, so I was nice before I bought my VFR. Thanks for the welcome, all. I've got a few friends in Hillsboro. I go out that way for a Tuesday night thing every now and again. When my schedule allows, anyways, which isn't as often as I like.
