A surprise gift from "Why We Ride"

I received this in the mail today.... a wonderfully unexpected gift from the "Why We Ride" crew. In a world of greed and entitlement it is so nice see a company giving back to the "little people". Hahahaha!!




I was quite happy and overwhelmed at this gift, but it didn't stop there... I opened it up and on the inside cover was the Valley of Fire scene... with yours truly as the lead rider on her incredible VFR. I am truly honored to have that spot in the DVD case. Even though no one will know it's me or even that it's a female rider... it means a lot to me. The entire thing is unbelievable to me... to be in a movie and have my name in the credits for the same movie with the likes of Mert Lawwill and Ted Simon.... pretty unbelievable....

And, after seeing the full movie again in the theaters, I realized I actually show up three times. There are two obvious Valley of Fire scenes and a third scene with just 3 of us riders on a straightaway. Pretty crazy....



Besides the fact that I'm in it, it really is a great movie... go see it if you can, or buy it through Amazon.... you won't regret it, they did a truly awesome job with this movie. From the first minute, these guys have been a class act and they should get as much support as possible... I can't wait to see if they do another project!

For personal use, but not for selling for those with a la chica fixation, the cover and the DVD with the thumbnails can be scanned on a high res scanner at say 1200 dpi and made into a poster for DIY carrot waxing.

The "gift" by receipt is acknowledgement of payment for those whose names appear in the credits crawl. This because bit players and those appearing briefly sometimes run scams to try to squeeze payment for services out of the producers of documentary films.

These same folks run insurance scams inflating damages to their possessions and vehicles, to collect as much as possible a la chica.. Jacking up everyone's rates in the long run.

Next we will address twerking at the ton.

 

I just ordered one based on your overwhelming endorsement of the film. Too late for Christmas but hey I will need something to do in January as I don't sled anymore

just watched this movie the other day really well made and very true to "why we ride". thats really cool of them for doing that

 

LOL!! I will gladly autograph it and take a pic by my bike... but only if you bring your lovely wife to Vegas and hang out for a couple days... would be nice to see you guys out here. Everyone else has been to my house, even from the east coast and now most recently from Illinois with Keager's visit with his wife yesterday... Get your arse out here soon!!
