1995 VFR Fuel Relay Clicking

    Starts and runs fine but the relay clicks about every 8 seconds. Any ideas?

    Thats normal, its the pulse that sends fuel to the tank. Ride it and forget it. :vtr2:

    The pump clicks, not the electronic relay. It's normal.

    It's definitely the relay and I just don't remember it doing it prior to getting the carbs jetted, cleaned, and synced. Appreciate the answers.

    Electro-mechanical relays (like the starter relay) click, but the fuel pump relay is electronic, has no moving parts and doesn't click; clicking is what the pump does in normal operation, one click every few seconds with engine running. :cower:
