Only F4 tornado to strike in November ever in Illinois. If there is any brighter side, the last F4 was in Plainfield IL about 15 or 20 years ago. I think it was near 30 killed. This one on Sunday only 6 dead. Great early warning and most people started hearing about the potential for tornados on Friday a full 36 hours before it hit. I live in Chicago and the 10pm news on Saturday night almost guaranteed tornados between 10am and 3pm.

Nowhere near as bad as the Philippines.

Glad to hear there was early warning of the tornados.
Also glad that members so far were not injured.

In Hawaii, we do not have tornados to worry about too much.
Mostly Tsunamis and volcanic lava flows.

    Thank you for the updates...
    Stay Safe, and Ride Well.

Here's a good news story after the tornadoes.

The Washington IL HS football team is in the state playoffs. They are scheduled to have a semi-final game on Saturday with a Springfield IL team. Ten kids on the Washington team lost portions of their homes. With all the devastation in Washington the Springfield team is going to send at least three busses loaded with supplies for the relief effort and then the busses will be used to transport the Washington team and anyone else who wants to go to Springfield for the game. The busses then will take the Washington team and fans back to Washington. The Parents at Springfield are already planning to put together a dinner for the Washington team and their fans when they arrive in Springfield.

Somebody is going to have to win that game on Saturday, but it doesn't look like there will be any losers!

Got to love the generosity and passion in the heartland!
