I've been putting off joining another forum lately but honestly the VFR is way to awesome not to talk about it like all the freakin time. anyway, short intro, I go by reverus, reverustatts on youtube is where i do my motovlogging. feel free to check it out. I started out riding on a 65cb305 superhawk then moved to a honda hornet 599 that was fun. Eventually I upgraded that to an RC51 which i still have and love, but I do alot of cross country trips so I needed something more capable of doing that. In comes the VFR. picked up this 06 VFR800 non abs with 6500 miles for 3200 bucks! I haven't looked back. this bike is just SO intuitive.. Its hard to not want to ride it every day.. which I do.. the poor rc51 just sits looking sad and lonely now.. anyway, here's a little video intro to my steed looking forward to trol.. i mean reading the forums. Welcome to the WORLD Reverus, and cudos for not posting up a pic of your new ride but a VIDEO. Even Better IMO. Enjoy the new bike (WE all know you will) and don't forget to keep her shiny side up.
wow, we may have to replace the smiley... you have set a new standard personally, I would prefer a smiley that says no entry without beer but what can you do?
:welcome: to the zoo lad, glad to have you and congratulation on your new ride. The VFR is a unique and a gentlemen bike  Enjoy and ride safe ATGATT
thanks everyone! I had to laugh, right as I read "gentleman bike" my eyes wandered over to you giving to a raptor
Scubalong is our resident pervert who is into metallic bestiality. Nice score on that bike. I think you stole it at that price. Is there a reason that the price on this bike with such low mileage is so low? Shit, if those are true miles, that sumbich isn't even broken in yet.
Welcome aboard. Looks like you have good riding spots out your way, even though you are riding on the wrong side of the road
previous owner was a rich kid with too much money that just didnt care. genuine miles, no problems at all. shes already near 8k since i got her. I just got back from a big road trip across the southwest on her, albuquerque nm, to pheonix az, to malibu ca, to ventura ca, back to LA, back to ventura, over to Las vegas nevada, back to alb. just under 2.5k miles in 10 days. good times
You were close to our (Long and Me) neck of the woods, next time you're gonna be this way give a heads up and maybe Long and I can meet up and ride along. Or at the very least have a beer with ya.:drinkers: But be warned though, when Long drinks, his motto is "No one's leaving, until we're heaving!":drinkers:
Hey there Reverus. Quite the steal, eh? Mine is at 65K and purrs like a sassy kitten. You couldn't have found a better forum for the VFR and riding in general. This place is awesome and everyone will always be ready with advice, opinions and asinine dinosaur humping antics. :smiley_simmons: Jose
