I am not able to find the right side starter button/kill switch module. I purchased a used one but it was frozen already and a new one is no longer available. Is there the same or similar enough one that I would be able to use? Thanks for the help.

Which bike? That starter and kill switch is very common and near universal on most Hondas.

Pretty sure any gen will work with no mods. Got a gen 5 on my gen 2. Plug and play.

Thanks for the tips, I will do some research in my own garage and at the parts places. It is winter here so time is not an issue.
